Terms of Service

1. The Service

Voce Amiga lets you call a phone number and hold a spoken conversation with an artificial-intelligence language tutor in Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, German, Mandarin, Korean, Arabic and Greek. The Service is for personal, educational, and entertainment purposes. It is not a substitute for a certified course, examination, or professional instruction, and it does not provide medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

2. Eligibility & your number

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By calling or submitting the callback form, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that the phone number you provide is yours or that you are authorized to use it. You are responsible for any carrier voice or data charges your provider applies to calls you place or receive.

3. AI disclosure & call recording

You understand and agree that your tutor is an AI system, not a human, and that its responses are generated automatically and may occasionally be inaccurate. Calls may be recorded and transcribed to personalize your lessons and to maintain quality, as described in our Privacy Policy. You will be notified of recording, and by continuing the call you consent to it. If you request a callback, you authorize Voce Amiga to place an automated call to the number you provide.

4. Pricing, billing & authorization

• First 10 minutes free. Your first call includes up to 10 minutes at no charge, with no card required to begin.
• Pay-as-you-go. After your free minutes, you pay only for the time you talk, in $20 top-ups — no per-minute billing and no subscription.
• Top-ups. Each $20 top-up gives you 30 minutes of talk. Add one whenever you choose.
• Spoken authorization. To continue past your free minutes and to purchase top-ups, you save a payment card and authorize charges by voice during a call. That authorization lets us charge the saved card for the top-up amount you approve.
• No subscription. There is no recurring plan and nothing renews automatically. We charge only the top-ups you authorize.
• Processing. Payments are processed and cards stored by Stripe. Prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude any applicable taxes.
• Balances & refunds. Unused balances remain available for future calls. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at hello@voceamiga.com and we will review it in good faith.

5. Text messages

If you opt in to SMS, you consent to receive account and lesson texts from Voce Amiga — payment links, payment receipts, and practice reminders about the lessons you asked for. We do not send marketing texts. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. 6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by: using it for anything unlawful; harassing or abusing the tutor or our staff; attempting to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or overload the Service; using automated means to place calls at scale; reselling access; or infringing anyone’s rights. We may limit, suspend, or end access for conduct that violates these Terms or harms the Service or others.

7. No guarantees of results

Learning outcomes depend on you. We do not promise or guarantee fluency, a particular skill level, exam results, or any specific outcome within any timeframe. Any examples, testimonials, or estimates are illustrative and not a guarantee of your experience.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including the Voce Amiga name, branding, website, prompts, and content, is owned by Blockster Media & Technology and protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from our materials without permission.

9. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties including OpenAI (AI processing), Twilio (telephony and SMS), Stripe (payments), and Meta (advertising and analytics). Your use of the Service may also be subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

10. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Blockster Media & Technology will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim or US $50. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including billing for amounts owed, intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will survive.

12. Governing law, changes & contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida will have jurisdiction over any dispute not otherwise subject to arbitration. We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date, and continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
