Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

We collect the information needed to give you a great tutoring experience, bill you fairly, and run our business:

  • Phone number and caller information. The number you call from or that you enter in the callback form, and telephony metadata such as call time and duration.
  • Call audio and transcripts. When recording is enabled, the audio of your lessons and machine-generated transcripts of what you and the AI tutor say.
  • Learning data. The language and level you choose, the areas you're working on and what's clicking, mistakes and corrections, and preferences the tutor uses to personalize future calls.
  • Account and billing information. Payment card details are collected and stored by Stripe; we retain a payment token, your billing history (minutes used, top-ups), and the phone number tied to your balance — we do not store full card numbers.
  • Callback form data. Your phone number, optional name, chosen language, and whether you opted in to text messages.
  • Website and device data. Collected automatically via cookies and similar tools: IP address, approximate location, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring ad, and interactions such as tapping “Call now.”
  • Messages. If you opt in to SMS, the content and metadata of texts between you and us.

2. How we use your information

  • To provide the Service — connect your call, run the AI tutor, and hold a real conversation with you.
  • To remember the areas you're working on and what's clicking, and personalize lessons across calls.
  • To process payments, apply your free minutes, meter usage, and handle top-ups.
  • To maintain quality and safety, train and improve our own prompts and models, troubleshoot, and prevent fraud or abuse.
  • To respond to support requests and send you service messages.
  • To market the Service, measure ad performance, and reach similar audiences (see Cookies & ad tracking).
  • To comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. Call recording & AI disclosure

Voce Amiga is an artificial-intelligence voice tutor, not a human being, and it will tell you so honestly if you ask. Calls may be recorded and transcribed so your tutor can remember the areas you're working on and what's clicking, and so we can monitor and improve quality.

You will be notified that a call may be recorded before or at the beginning of the call. By continuing the call after that notice, you consent to being recorded. If you do not wish to be recorded, please tell the tutor or end the call. You may request deletion of your recordings at any time (see Your rights & choices).

4. Text messages (SMS)

We send text messages only if you check the SMS opt-in box on the callback form or otherwise expressly agree. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of calling Voce Amiga or of any purchase. Texts are limited to the lessons and account you asked us about: payment links, payment receipts, and practice reminders. We do not send marketing texts.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. SMS is delivered through Twilio; we do not share your number with third parties for their own marketing.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only as described below:

  • OpenAI — processes call audio, transcripts, and text to power the AI tutor’s speech recognition, understanding, and responses.
  • Twilio — provides the phone number, connects and carries your calls, and delivers SMS.
  • Stripe — securely collects and processes payment card information and stores your payment method.
  • Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — receives website-event data through the Meta Pixel to measure and optimize advertising. This may be considered “sharing” for targeted advertising under some laws; you may opt out (see Your rights & choices).
  • Other service providers — hosting, analytics, and customer support vendors bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal and safety — to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect rights, safety, and property.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

Each provider processes your data under its own privacy terms. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of OpenAI, Twilio, Stripe, and Meta.

6. Payments & billing

Your first 10 minutes are free. After that, you add talk time in $20 top-ups — each $20 top-up gives you 30 minutes of talk, whenever you like. Top-ups are charged to the card you save, by your spoken authorization during a call. There is no per-minute billing. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically. Card processing and storage are handled by Stripe; we keep a token and your billing history, not your full card number. See our Terms of Service for full billing terms.

7. Cookies & ad tracking

This website uses cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta Pixel, to understand traffic, measure conversions such as taps on “Call now,” and improve advertising on Facebook and Instagram. You can control cookies through your browser settings and limit ad tracking through your device settings and Meta’s ad preferences. Opting out may make some ads less relevant but will not stop you from using the Service.

8. Data retention

We keep recordings, transcripts, and learning data for as long as needed to provide the Service and personalize your lessons, and we keep billing records as required for tax, accounting, and legal purposes. When you ask us to delete your data, we remove it from our active systems within a reasonable period, except where we must retain limited information to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, or prevent fraud.

9. Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising or the “sale” or “sharing” of your information. Residents of California, other U.S. states with privacy laws, and the EU/UK may have additional rights.

  • Access or delete your data: email hello@voceamiga.com and we will verify and process your request.
  • Stop recordings: tell the tutor during a call, or email us to delete past recordings.
  • Stop texts: reply STOP to any message.
  • Opt out of ad tracking: adjust your browser and device settings and Meta ad preferences.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

10. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, and we work only with reputable processors. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children

Voce Amiga is intended for adults 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes & contact

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date. Questions or requests? We’re glad to help.
